Confused about your wedding videography?
“A bad videographer/ photographer can ruin the work of a good photographer/ videographer”
We hear many of say that you don’t care about videography as much as photography and therefore don’t spend as much time and money on your videographer. That’s fair and your choice - every couple has a right their preference. But please do vet your videographers carefully…
Did you know a ‘bad’ videographer can;
Ruin a good photographer’s photo
Can kill a moment by over-posing a couple
Can significantly increase the footprint of the total number of photographers and videographers - making it an unpleasant experience for the guests.
PS - you can substitute the word ‘videographer’ for ‘photographer’ up above too…
Ask yourself a few questions before you make the big decision…
Do you really need video for your wedding? If so, what is your required output?
Do you need all parts of the wedding covered by a videographer?
What kind of style do you want the videographer(s) to shoot in?
Does that style match the photographers’?
Will you spend enough time choosing/ vetting a videographer like you did for your photographer?
Don’t get me wrong. This isn’t a blog post to bash videographers (could say the same vice versa too). It’s more to educate you when selecting the right key vendors for your wedding. And also understand that a bad videographer/ photographer could ruin the work of a good photographer/ videographer.
