From the pre-wedding shoot (which was so fun and relaxed) to every single event, you made us feel completely at ease. We’re honestly not “photo people” at all, but you never once made anything feel forced or awkward. Instead, you created such a calm atmosphere where we could just be ourselves.

Pareet, spending so much of the wedding day with you made everything go by so quickly. You were not only incredible behind the camera, but just such a genuinely lovely person to have around. Chatting in between moments, laughing together, and having your steady, calm presence meant more than you probably realise.
You were also there during some heightened emotional moments (wedding stress is real 😂), and your patience and quiet reassurance did not go unnoticed. You handled everything with such grace and professionalism while still feeling like a friend.

Kush, we also want to say a huge thank you to you. You captured everything so seamlessly behind the scenes, often in moments we didn’t even realise were being documented. Your calm presence, attention to detail (the trek from the beach to the spa to get the epic shot from above) and teamwork made such a difference, and it was clear how perfectly you both work together. Nothing ever felt intrusive, it was all just natural, effortless and beautifully timed. Together, you made what could have felt overwhelming feel completely easy.

A huge thank you as well, Pareet, for sending us all the photos within two weeks of the wedding! That turnaround time is honestly incredible. We’re still slowly going through them, savouring every single moment you captured. It’s been so special to relive it all so soon after.

Kiran & Savraj, UK - Simply put, we could not have done our wedding without Pareet. We were in for quite a challenge when we set out to remotely organise our Diani Beach wedding, from the UK, without a wedding planner! Pareet was the first vendor we reached out to, having followed his wildlife page for years and realising he also captured the most stunning wedding pictures we had ever come across. After one conversation with him, we knew it had to be Cheka Weddings. We felt completely at ease with his guidance at every step of the process, advising us on so much more than just the photography element from Day 1.

We had a Sikh wedding and he admitted he was less familiar with the traditions and rituals that came with this, but made it his mission to learn every detail beforehand so that he could capture all our special moments. The Gurdwara even approached us afterwards to say the Cheka photographers were the most respectful they had ever had. Throughout the wedding, Pareet and his wonderful second photographer, Kush, worked with tireless passion and creativity to give us shots we wouldn't have even dreamed of. We certainly asked a lot of them, with long days of shooting, but we would always look over and see him smiling with delight when he had thought of another great shot. He was calm and patient with all our guests, capturing the energy of every single individual.

One thing we were slightly anxious about was the couple photoshoots (not wanting cheesy, staged photos) but he made them incredibly relaxed and fun to take part in. Another thing we really appreciated was his transparency and a desire for making shared decisions - he requested several calls ahead of the wedding to align on timings, prices and requests, so there were no nasty surprises during the wedding week. He listened to everything we wanted, ensuring we got great family photos, as well as natural shots that captured exactly who we are as a couple.

Once the wedding was over, Pareet worked with the utmost efficiency to get us our photos in what we would class as record time. He was SO excited to share them with us, sending regular teasers, confirming once again that this is so much more than 'just a job' for him. To this day, we're still regularly in touch with Pareet and are desperate to head back to Kenya for a safari with the pro. Until then, we will continue to look over our beautiful photos and thank our lucky stars that we found Cheka.
